What language to choose for "system" programming?
I want to learn how to write programs under linux, what languages can I choose? I would like the entry threshold to be lower and the learning rate to be higher.

There is no choice of language for system programming under Linux, there is basically one language - C.
The entry threshold for the language itself is not very high. The threshold for entering system programming as a specialty is much higher.
If something is time-tested, then you can try C, and if you are drawn to something new, then Rust, which will help develop a strict programming style.
