What Landing Page Sizes to Choose?

Good afternoon.
Please tell a beginner about the dimensions of the layout for landings (width and height).
The maximum resolution of all computers is 1920px. So you need to use it?
But at the same time, there are also monitors, such as 1280px, etc.. So the work area should be 1280px?
I imagine this as:
in Figma (I like it better) I create a frame (artboard) with a size of 1920x ??? (arbitrary height)px. Then I connect the grid, with indents on both sides (right and left) of 320px (1920-1280=640/2=320).
And accordingly I work only within the boundaries of the workspace (1280px).
For example, I want to make the main screen height for 1280 900px. Inside this width, do I follow all the layout rules? I place objects.
Sorry for the stupid question, I just can’t find a normal article on the Internet that would explain in an accessible way what resolutions to make layouts with. A little confused. Can you share a link to the article, or tell a jun?)))

Look on the Internet "ready-made psd layouts to download", download, see what sizes are there. You can look for ready-made layouts of sites with a grid, and see how everything is done there. This is a topic, everyone does it differently...
I think you need to make several layouts of one landing page. One layout for wide screens, one for tablets and one for phones.
For wide ones, for example, place blocks in 4 columns, tablets in 2 columns, phones in 1 column
