What kind of ridiculous troubles does msmtp have with file access (anywhere except /tmp)?

fastened msmtp to ubuntu server 20.04
the letters themselves go badly. Trouble in additional options

.
   aliases /etc/aliases.msmtp
   logfile /var/log/msmtp.log
   syslog on

in /etc/msmtprc Does
n't want to read aliases msmtp: /etc/aliases.msmtp: Permission deniedand write logs until you change paths in config and reality to /tmp/.

at the same time
[email protected]:/etc# ls -la msmtprc
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 312 Mar 19 11:21 msmtprc
[email protected]:/etc# ls -la aliases.msmtp
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 24 Mar 19 11:13 aliases.msmtp

those. it reads the main config. but exactly the same with aliases cannot.
chowns, chmods don't help (or I don't know what to specify other than 660 or even 777)
I'm at a loss.

@Quqas

the moronic apparmor would have driven
a nail into the head, who invented it without asking to put / turn it on, so that he could hold on tighter,
how to squeeze it out completely and could not, but /etc/apparmor.d has a rule for msmtp and you can figure it out - change the paths / names to read/write
