Hello. I study at the university in the information specialty, at the same time I get the qualification of a translator in the professional field. Suddenly, the teacher suddenly said to choose a book (small) for transfer to a diploma. Personally, I would like to choose something that, in addition to developing my translation skills, would also bring me knowledge as a programmer.

So, in essence:
- the book should initially be in English;
- the book has never been officially published in Russian;
- in principle, it is not necessary that it be a book, a mb voluminous article, etc .;
- by the way, about volumes: a book - or some of its component parts representing a separate text (for example, a chapter) - should be 60 thousand characters in size (about 35 A4 sheets), the main thing is no less (but I would not particularly like more );
- subject matter? Yes, any, the main thing is that everything is related to IT. Fundamentals of algorithmization, database design, OOP, game design - anything;
- optional: I would like the text, among other things, to be interesting and carry practical value.
