What is this data sending?

the console read
apt-listchanges: Sending mail to root: apt-listchanges: news about [name of my linux or superuser]
where exactly did the mail go? and what went there?

apt -listchanges: Send mail to root: apt-listchanges: news about debian7
is it just logs from his account and his mail, or is that where my data was sent to his mail [email protected]?

@neol

This is sending mail to [email protected] containing the changelog of installed packages.
Most likely these messages are in /var/mail and have not been sent anywhere.
