What is the speed of a USB 3.0 flash drive through a USB to HDMI adapter?

Given:
A laptop from 2010 that does not support USB 3.0
But the laptop has an HDMI port
What will be the speed of a USB 3.0 flash drive if it is connected via a USB -> HDMI adapter. Will it be faster?
~ there is also an external ssd usb 3.1 disk, the same question here.
Will an HDMI port give a speed boost?

The HDMI port is intended for outputting audio-video information, and not for connecting USB flash drives.

Although HDMI ports are designed to transfer digital audio and video, they're not able to transfer files. You can connect an HDMI port only to another HDMI port or, using an adapter, another type of digital-video connector (such as DVI).
