What is the safest driver updater?

Hello.
I’ll clarify in advance, but it’s better to install firewood manually from official sites. BUT! There are drivers that cannot be updated by conventional means or the manufacturer has scored, so you have to use different driver packs.
Earlier, about 5-7 years ago I used DriverPack Solution. I remember that she entered her data in the system, etc. And now, apparently, sews all sorts of nonsense.
I tried Driver Booster about two years ago. I didn’t like my congestion and the suspicion of sewing nonsense.
Now I tried Snappy driver installer. Antiviruses are silent, there were no problems.
In your experience, what is a safe and capable program that does its job, without sewing any nonsense into the system?

I rarely use driver packs, only if I can't find drivers otherwise.
SDI is not bad in my opinion.

The safest thing is to go to the device manufacturer's website and download the drivers from there directly.
If it is not on the official website, and the manufacturer scored, then you can find an amateur craft. If there is a problem, then it is not only you. All sorts of Chinese drivers are sure to be found. Who seeks will find.
These drivers do not write programs themselves, they take them from somewhere. And you just let these programs "help" you. At the same time, one must always remember that free cheese is only in a mousetrap. If the program shows ads, then there is still a chance that everything will be limited to this. Otherwise, you don’t have to think very hard to start using such a program without advertising and a visible way to monetize or benefit. The exception is branded programs (tailored for some kind of laptop or device), but they do nothing special, they just download drivers that are already available on the manufacturer's website.
