What is the right hardware for 3d Max 2018?

Good day to all! I want to update the hardware for comfortable work in 3d Max and photoshop. At the moment, the computer has the following characteristics:
1. Processor - AMD Athlon II X4 640
2. Motherboard MSI 760GM-P23
3. 4 GB of RAM
Instead of a video card, a plug))
I want to upgrade on the basis of an existing motherboard to such parameters
1. Processor Phenom II X6 1055t (or slightly higher models like 1090 or 1100). Make no more overclocking within 500 GHz
2. 8, or 12 GB of RAM
3. The video card is questionable, as an option I consider gtx 1050TI
What do you say, is it worth doing such an upgrade in order to work with the latest versions of 3d Max for a couple more years, or take something else?

The card should not be taken in any case 1050
At least GeForce GTX 1060.
