What is the relationship between the number of connected monitors and the amount of video memory consumed by the video card?
Please help me solve this problem =)

The fact of just connecting a second monitor does not affect anything. But the inclusion of the "dual screen" mode causes the use of the memory of the video card. Not that this memory without enabling the mode can be used for other needs, but it is either used or not. If the video card is integrated, then shared memory can be used for it. In my opinion it's like this....
Each active monitor consumes memory equal to its resolution * per color bit depth.
That is, 1024x768 with 256 colors will be 786432
with 16-bit color already 1572864
1920x1080*True Color (32bit) = 8 294 400
Otherwise, during toys, the video memory is mainly clogged with textures and precalculation of future frames.
