Yes, the price has not changed. The dollar just went up. In June it was 28.2, and now 32.2.
If you divide, it will immediately become clear that the price has remained the same.
Usually the price rises in proportion to the shortage of goods in warehouses, for example, on New Year's Eve. But here, most likely, the current batch has already been sold out, and the next one is still going somewhere in Taiwan.
This is not counting objective factors such as increased customs duties.
Yesterday I noticed in a nearby shopping center that only iPads with 3G are on sale. To a reasonable question - where only with Wi-Fi, they said that they stopped carrying them. A meaningful answer - why ?, no one gave.
Because the purchase is in dollars. So we follow the course. But depreciation, as always in Russia, does not guarantee price reductions.
Similar with 2011 macbook air (46->52). And many other equipment that was purchased recently (and has not been gathering dust in the warehouse for six months or a year).
Somewhere in the news they wrote that the dollar will drop to 30 rubles by the end of the year.
I believe in it, because elections are in December, and our society is very sensitive to the dollar exchange rate.
So, perhaps, by the new year, prices will drop a little.
