What is the power of the Wi-Fi antenna in the MacBook Pro / Air?

In new macbooks (2013) - what power is the Wi-Fi antenna installed? I can't find info. How many dBi?

I ask the question because I think to take an external USB more powerful. The standard is missing a little bit to reach the free WiFi.

@opium

any external one will be more powerful than the built-in one, and if you take a directed one, even more so

Usually they all have a gain of 3 dBi
Rarely five.
External will have the same coefficient.
A miracle won't happen.
If your reception is so bad that it is not possible to connect, a directional antenna can slightly improve this and you will be able to log in, but it will be impossible to use such a connection. Not to mention that by such actions you will seriously worsen the life of other users of this access point.
In any case, the reality is that it's not an option. At all.
Just looked at the location of the antenna.
There, the back of the screen works as a reflector and the radiation pattern will "look" from the matrix to the user. It turns out that you need to sit with your back to the signal source. Then the reception will be better.
