What is the point of stretching landing pages on cms?

Hello! I often see how customers ask to "layout a landing page for WordPress or" pull
the design of a landing page on cms . I can imagine how this is done, because cms is needed for content, and if the page consists of completely different blocks, with different alignment and text color, font size, different heading highlights, different input forms - this is some kind of hell. for landings, but they ask you to "put it on WordPress" and not on any other engine (especially in the West they love it) Maybe I don't understand something?

Because people don't understand what LP is and don't understand how to cook it.
They do not understand that this is 1 page, to which the maximum that can be attached is a script for sending email.
WP is everywhere, so everyone is asking to use it because they think WP=website. It's like when someone calls the monitor a processor, or Yandex - the Internet.

The first reason is that LP as one page is a concept mutilated in the Russian Federation.
LP does not always have one page. We made a site from 100 LPs, structured in a tree.
The second reason is that for the most part it's optimal to start with a one-pager (it's a one-LP site), but who said stop there? If the business is adequate, then in a week you will want to continue the banquet. Make a blog, product catalog, or other LP. From a one-pager to turn into a catalog of related products, with cross-sales and other blackjack.
The third reason is that you can make an LP on WP at no extra cost. As mentioned above, this can be VC or PageBuilder. The page is assembled in 15-30 minutes. Without curve layout, cross-browser, adaptive. In terms of conversion, such pages are not inferior to manual builds (from 2 to 20% are easily squeezed out), and in terms of costs, they are 10 times less.
Fourth reason. This solution is much more flexible. It's easier to do split tests. You can correct the blocks in some places with a couple of clicks or by moving the mouse. A marketer without knowledge of layout or coding can edit.

What if the editor wants to insert a table? And upload photos to the gallery, change descriptions for them? But what if these are pictures of apartment layouts with footage, floor, price and address, on the basis of which a Yandex map is automatically generated for display in a lightbox? How about changing the picture in the slider? And a description? What about prices? What about statistics for charts? These are the most primitive examples. There are things much more difficult. Will you write a long instruction, in which span, what to edit and how to properly set attributes for images? Then it's better to give this editor a textbook on HTML and regret it.
And yes... CMS!=Wordpress
It is necessary to solve a specific task of the client.

It makes sense if you have Visual Composer
and customers are often lazy assholes, they will ask you and pay you rather than spend 10 minutes learning how CMS works.

There are landing pages for one time (sell goods for a promotion), and there are constantly earning money. They can consist not of one landing, but of a hundred, for example, each product has its own. To reduce the cost of employees and make on the CMS. A content manager costs less than a person who knows how to typeset. And on the good side, there are a lot of specialized services that are inexpensive per month and allow you to make landing pages drag and drop. Commercially, this is more profitable than imposing statics or pulling on a CMS.

But so no one answered a simple question. What does it mean to put a landing page on sms? Create a one-page standalone website? Or create a page inside an existing one?
