In the server log of my blog, I periodically observe transitions from the left sites. There has never been a link to my blog and never will be. Sometimes there are crowds of bots going to the same page with different sources.

What is the meaning of this event? Do spammers really think that I will manually click on all referrers? How do they hope to profit from this?
