What is the optimal CPU architecture for operating the OS in Real Time mode (FreeRTOS)?

Good day!
There is a need for data processing on the Real Time system. The choice fell on FreeRTOS, it fits in all respects.
Interested in the choice of CPU architecture for the target system, does the same ARM have advantages over the x86 processor, given that ARM's power is enough for the eyes?
If yes, then what kind of architecture provides a more stable operation of the Realtime system?
The power of the piece of iron, in fact, is not very large, 100 MHz is enough for the eyes.

For RTOS, ARM has a special "R" series. Suitable for performance.
