What is the Open Gatekeeper friendly program for? And what does she do? Isn't she safe?

I often see programs installed using Open Gatekeeper friendly. An open source program at https://sourceforge.net/p/openh323gk/mailman/messa...
But after reading I did not understand what it is for and what it does. Does anyone know what it's for?

Gatekeeper is a component of the macOS operating system that controls the launch of programs. In later versions of mac OS, it is configured by default to only run programs that are digitally signed by the developer or downloaded from the mac app store.
If you want to run a "left" program, for example, downloaded from a torrent, you need to:
- or add this program to the gateKeeper exclusion list:
- or disable it globally in the system
sudo spctl --master-disable.
More details, for example, here: https://macx.ws/mac-os-unix/10137-kak-otklyuchit-g...
Open Gatekeeper friendly - a script that automates the above steps.
Here is an example of such a script: https://gist.github.com/RobertYan/4b73199f571d83c4...
In general, the script allows you to run a program obtained from untrusted sources - the overall security of the system is reduced. But this is the only way to run "pirated" software.
