What is the name of such a strange principle (or effect)?

What is the name of the principle (effect) when there is an error in the software, but until it is detected, the software works quite correctly, but as soon as it is discovered, working with the software becomes impossible and you understand that it could not work with such an error?

It's called psychology. Or paranoia.
In 99.99% of cases, the software can be returned to its original state (restart, reinstall ...)
If there are 0.01% of cases that fall under your description, then this is clearly not a principle and not an effect, because appears too rarely.
But I can't come up with an example, can you tell me?
