A promising PL for an engineer?

Hello, dear software engineers [If there are any, if not, please answer those who are:]. I am writing here for the first time, so I ask you not to kick much if I made a mistake with the section / tag. I want to know which programming languages for mechatronics, robotics, automation are more promising in the next 10-15 years? I myself just graduated from high school and can not predict. I'm going to enter the MHRT (mechatronics and robotics) at a university, but we all understand that not every university graduates a good specialist. I plan to study some kind of programming language on my own in parallel with my studies, so that later I can do programming and configuration (and maybe development) of automatic systems from the three above areas. If suddenly there are differences in languages for different areas, then I will be grateful if you indicate, which ones are the most promising in your opinion for robotics / smart homes / drones and similar equipment. I haven’t searched Google yet, since Toaster, in my opinion, is one of the most authoritative sites where you can get an answer to such a question. Thank you in advance

I would recommend C and python. And first the first, then after a while the second.
Knowing C will be able to program microcontrollers, the same Arduino for starters.
Python will allow you to write programs for the raspberry pi, the desktop, and much, much more. In addition, it is suitable for solving engineering problems and scientific calculations, and in any case it will come in handy in life.

C - like low-level
Js - high-level lightweight and with gui
- both have similar syntax and both are equally simple
But still it seems likely that js will be used in smart home and robots and automation
Just because a billion people need more ease and convenience and it is not necessary to save memory or have the maximum possible computational speed
