What is the most convenient interface for linux distributions, in your opinion?

I used to use Ubuntu starting from 7.10, but until they changed the dwarf for an inconvenient dash, I want to hear your opinion on which of the graphical shells is still more convenient and more customizable.
We need simplicity and beauty, and so that there are no dances with tambourines.
