What is the maximum allowable audio output delay from the microphone to the speakers?

There is some software that:
a) On the one hand plays a playlist;
b) On the other hand, takes the sound from the microphone.
All this mixes and outputs to the sound system.
That's actually the question, what is the value of the delay between the spoken sound into the microphone and the receipt of this sound from the speakers is acceptable? It is clear that the less the better, but still? I would like to consider this issue within the framework of, for example, conducting a live radio broadcast, i.e. when, apparently, the presenter hears himself along with the outgoing flow of background music (or does he not hear himself?).

Do you want a specific number? In my opinion, that delay is acceptable, which does not interfere with perceiving with the ears.

The presenter has headphones, not speakers, because otherwise the sound will cycle, i.e. the leader’s words can be heard again in the speaker-microphone path and further in a circle.
And if he simply comments on the music on the fly, then any delay up to several seconds is not terrible, which actually happens in the normal conditions of a radio station.
If you sing to this music, then there are nuances, read more here soundheresy.ho.ua/#soundcard
there is a bit lower in the chapter about delays.

For broadcasting, any delays will interfere.
Delays should be adjusted by ear, so that it is convenient to broadcast.
The solution to problems can be different: from installing several sound cards to using a mixing console.
I hope I understood the essence of the question correctly.

Use zvukovuhu and programs with normal ASIO support. Personally, I don’t hear a delay of less than 20ms, 30 is already somehow not comfortable, the feeling that it is lagging somewhere, 50 - I begin to clearly distinguish them.
Since there are few sound streams (even if there are 4 microphones and two streams from the players in the studio), the sound card will reduce delays to 5-7 ms, which is more than enough, even if you sing.
