What is the future of the p tag in html5?

I say right away that the words are not mine and my experience does not allow me to make such statements, therefore, I would like to know your opinion.
To put it simply:
The "p" tag is already a deprecated tag and should no longer be used in html5, it's better to use "div" instead. Would like to know if this is true? Your opinions, maybe links to sources where this was discussed.
Thank you.

Good afternoon. The p
tag has a bright future. How could such a thing even come to mind? Maybe also replace H1...H6 with divas? p - paragraph tag , how can there be text without paragraphs? div tag - division, part, section, can limit, separate, anything - tables, videos, images, site columns. These are completely different tags and perform a different function in the semantic representation of the page. Please show better where you saw that the p tag is an "obsolete tag"?

Conversely, the div tag in html5 has a very limited future.
In general, the question is stupid - I recommend reading the help first:

www.w3.org/TR/html-markup/p.html
htmlbook. ru/html/p
www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_p.asp
