What is the first language to learn to create games? And what sources would you recommend (books, websites, YouTube channels)?

Two days ago I started learning C #, but now I wondered from which language I started?
Thanks in advance!

The language is not important. Especially for gamedev.
Learn algorithms, approaches to design and development, the basics of graphics (both 2d and 3d) and that's it.

Language: C#, C++
Engine: Unity(C#), Unreal Engine (C++)

The choice of language and engine depends on the size of the game. Small, medium - Unity + C#. Big, Huge - Unreal Engine + C++

Unity 3D (C#) , official documentation.

It depends on what kind of game you want to make.
Here, many people advise Unity - it is, of course, good, but if the goal is to make a text-based game in the browser, then he did not give up.
