What is the easiest thing to learn to start earning?

Gentlemen, I ask for help with advice.
A friend (26 years old) has health problems, she can no longer work at her previous job (lawyer).
He can only work at home, now he gives legal online consultations, but these are pennies and it takes 1-2 hours a day. Now looking for new ways to make money. The girl knows English well, there is enough free time. Advise what she can learn in the IT field? To make it easier and you could start earning at least 10-20 thousand after a few months of study?
It is clear that everything is subjective, but at least where to start? HTML / CSS I understand? I myself am a person far from IT.

If you know English well, then you can try freelancing on foreign exchanges (Odesk, Elance), they pay more there, and there are more orders. HTML + CSS + JS + PHP (first study html + css, then php, then js, well, in parallel with php you can) a normal bundle, you can start with it, make a couple of portfolio projects in 3-6 months. Well, if you want to get more, then you need to look towards Ruby on Rails, where good money can be made.

On the subject of where to start. If you know English well, then you can do translations, if you have a gift for writing, then copy / rewrite, you can see this topic here

what html what css???
where does she go? into an area where tens of thousands of much more qualified students / and various Ukrainians are already sitting, ready to work for food, in a stagnant market and the widespread introduction of ready-made solutions.
Let him learn to draw better, at least there you need to have talent, not everyone has it, and this is exactly what you can compete and earn money on.

Programming girl? I do not believe. In my opinion, a girl is better at designing. And if you really want to break your brains, let him try the development of interfaces, for example in Axure - there the creation of an interactive prototype is programming, only simpler and more popular.
When I worked at a publishing house, the lawyer there was also a freelancer, he checked the layouts for compliance with the law on advertising, if interested, I recommend digging towards large publishing houses, you can earn a living there if you spud several at once.

I would recommend being a freelancer for the profile she worked in.
given that she worked as a lawyer, remote legal assistance is very necessary for some individuals ... especially for teams that freelance. it may not run around the courts, but it is possible to prepare people for the process.
to do this, it is enough to start a useful website blog, and hang your portfolio (or just at least contacts) on the exchanges.
in the meantime, there are no orders, that is, a lot of remote work. the same tinkov offers work at home.
or vorkl... or many other things you can think of.

If the girl is a LAWYER! then what kind of layout and programming are we talking about? This is a humanist, and you are pushing her to the technical side. It seems to me that it would be optimal to go in two directions:
1. Continue to advise people so as not to lose qualifications, you can even open your own resource
2. Do manual work (dolls, soap, pillows, candles ...) - the choice is huge, come up with your own zest
This is purely my subjective opinion!

Now we are talking about programming, he wants to build a new career in IT, and not just cut down 200 rubles on ice cream on advego. A person has money for life in the next six months or a year

You can translate courses, for example, here: skladchik.com/forums/%D0%9F%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B...
There is now an acute shortage of translators, and a lot of courses have already been thrown .

You need to ask the girl what direction in IT she prefers..
Write to ire @ front.ru, maybe I can help with something.

programming is not for everyone. if there is no knowledge in programming, then I would advise you to look towards arbitration. you can start earning much faster than with programming, and I think it would be easier for a girl to learn

let him deal with copywriting, translating content from English and into English, and, in general, content management. There are a lot of vacancies, for people with English, up to a thousand greens can be raised.
