What are its advantages and features of application? How is it different from just Divide?

The Divide Objects Below option is needed, for example, in order to quickly make a through hole through several objects in the shape of the top one. At the same time, the cut part remains.
You simply draw a hole on top of your composition that you want to make –> Divide Objects Below –> and all objects have the same part cut out, which can be deleted.
Can be used the other way around, to sort of "mask out" or remove unwanted parts outside of the cutout area, i.e. after Divide Objects Below, delete everything that is outside the cut area.
A useful tool, sometimes you can't do without it ..
