What is the difference between the USB ports on the back and front of the system unit?
Hello.
Burned the boot image of WIndows7 to a usb flash drive.
I connected the system unit to the front port, booted from usb, the windows installer starts, and right at the beginning a window appears:
"The required media driver was not found"
After several attempts, I decided to connect it to the back port of the system unit and this window did not appear anymore.
It turns out that there is some difference between the rear and front ports.
Please tell me which one? Why did the windows installer react like that?

Apparently you have a PC with EHCI and XHCI (supporting USB 3.0) USB controllers. The standard Win7 image only has drivers for the first one. So the second time you successfully plugged the flash drive into the EHCI ports on the back.
