What is the difference between the component and the 1C Bitrix module?

Do not immediately throw stones at me, I just started to study 1C Bitrix, like snow on my head! ) Explain intelligibly what is the difference between the component and the 1C Bitrix module?

A component is an element that is rendered on a page. Maybe a small element - some small form, a separate button. or maybe a whole page or even a section of the site, for example - a complex component such as a forum.
A module is sort of like a system plug-in that, when installed, copies its components and admin pages to the system, and also contains and provides these (and all others, too, if necessary) components with their functions and classes.
