What is the difference between 'IBLOCK_CODE' and 'CODE'?

Read here how to update a custom property.
And there was a question what is 'IBLOCK_CODE'?
I knew that there is a symbolic code of the infoblock 'CODE', but the fact that there is still 'IBLOCK_CODE' is not.
Tell me what is their difference and how to find out 'IBLOCK_CODE'?

In the context of an infoblock , the field is called CODE, in the context of an entity associated with an infoblock , it is called IBLOCK_CODE. According to the link, we are talking about the infoblock section, respectively, and this field refers to the infoblock code of this section.
Analogy - you have a name and you may be asked "what is your name". In doing so, your parents will be asked "what is your child's name". The entity is one, but addressing to it depends on how the responder is connected to it.
