A year and a half later, a new site was made and when trying to license it with the same key at the end of the demo mode, the attempt was unsuccessful, the site says "The trial version of the product has expired. In two weeks, this site will completely stop working, buy a fully functional version and etc."
We know that 2 sites under the same license can only be on one engine, but if this engine is long gone, how can we make our new project the first one? Maybe someone faced such a problem, the question is urgent, Bitrix support will answer no earlier than Monday ..

Actually, when entering the key, you should have received a message about the success or failure of activation, you did not describe this in your question.
Perhaps your license is registered for a completely different domain name, so there may be a blockage. The license has not been renewed. Today, Bitrix is ​​​​already the 16th version, you want to activate the old license on the new version - this will not work.
