What is the difference between console and terminal?

The console is a collection of devices that allows you to interact with the device.

Here, as it were, everything is clear, the console can be a microphone, and a keyboard, and a mouse, and ... a command line.
That is, at its core, the command line is a console. BUT why is it customary to call command lines terminals in Linux then? Here is a photo as an example.

And the terminal itself seems to be designed for remote work with a computer (judging by the information on the Internet). How can the command line be both a console and a terminal at the same time?

the console is the command line.
terminal - a program that provides access to the command line.
