What is the current level of performance and usability of Elementary OS?

I wanted to know the opinion about Elementary OS.
How does it work?
Is it worth moving from Windows?
Is photoshop too crooked on it through wine?

The first versions of luna were generally fire in terms of performance (the only modern DE that I did not lag), but there were a lot of small ui jambs.
In the latest version of the jambs only increased. Brake was like all the other DE.
It was impossible to update directly from the moon to Freya (only a complete reinstallation) - that was generally a mess.
