What is the best way to write an installer?
It is necessary to write an installer that installs the game, the mod for it and the russifier of the mod. At the same time, the game itself is on dis and it needs to write an installer, but the mod has its own installer and it must be launched after installing the game. After installing the mod, open a window with a choice of localization. Russifier modifies mod files. For Russfikator you need to write your own installer.
As a result, only the mod has its own installer, and for the game and the Russifier, you need to make your own installers. All of them must be combined into a single .exe file, which will be installed sequentially: game --> mod --> Russifier.
Now there is a ready prototype in the Advanced Installer. The program is in principle suitable, but there are two problems. 1. Advanced Installer creates ONLY .msi installers and if you select the .exe item, then Adevnced Installer will pack .msi into .exe and, in fact, also msi remains, which is no longer suitable, you need EXACTLY .exe. 2. In the Advanced Installer, there is NO possibility to make a choice of components, there is only the ability to make components that users can install at will, but so that component 1 and component 2 cannot be put together - there is no such thing.
What program is best for me to create my installer? What approaches to use?

Wix toolset it allows you to create msi msp and more. The downside is that you will understand a couple of days. But really cool stuff. It can even change the language on the go and make boring installers, just right for games!
