What is the best way to set up a server for colocation?

Hello!
There is a server that is still on the local network, but there is an idea to give it to a hoster for colocation.
OS Windows server 2016 core with hyper-v.
The question is what is the best way to protect it from network attacks and at the same time not lose access to management in case of failure (I plan to put pfsense on one of the virtual machines and use it as a router)?
PS In general, I decided to install 5Nine Manager on the host (it's free for my needs) to access virtual machines if something happens to them.

SRT2020 , the same as what you will do inside the network.
look for the netsh command, contact the vendor to replace the mother, look for-purchase a new network interface. we came across this, but our RAID failed and the firmware did not help, the engineer was sent to the Data Center.
for security and access, we used PFSense, at the first stage port forwarding and then openvpn.
after a while, they put a second server next to it that duplicated the services.
