What is the best way to organize video streaming from mac air and backup?
There are Mac Air and of course iPad, iPhone, there was a desire to watch online movies on TV. The easiest option is to go to the store and buy an apple tv, but since such a booze has gone, I wanted to implement a backup, and it would be great to transfer the photo archive from a small mac air disk to a ball.
Is there any solution that would bring it all together?
Maybe someone assembled a small computer with a hypervisor for this and put there, for example, freeNAS for backup and balls and XBMC for streaming, it would be great to get acquainted with someone else's experience.

If we are considering Apple's implementations on AirPlay, then only AppleTV.
If you listen to music, AirPort Express is enough, it supports music transfer via AirPlay.
Or we are already starting to cheat, install the AirPlay emulator on Mac Air and connect display_port -> hdmi to the TV.
Or you can take any TV set-top box (yes, or even a raspberry pi) with XBMC ....
it itself has AppleTV 2 (precisely 2 and not 3, so that you can make a jailbreak), and it already has XBMC, a torrento rocking chair, and to it the external screw on usb is connected.
