What is the best way to order the creation of a site on WordPress?
There was an idea to create a content project. I chose WordPress because of its simplicity, low cost, and ease of use.
Now I'm thinking about two implementation options (I don't write websites myself):
1. Buy a beautiful template on themeforest and order a freelancer to finalize the functionality.
2. Draw the design yourself, order the site completely from a freelancer.
So far, I’m leaning towards the first option, since I like the finished work of professional designers more than my own, and it’s clear what will happen. But there is a risk that in the future the freelancer may have problems with changing the functionality (since it seems to me that most templates on themeforest are made for users who only need to add content and plugins without significantly adding functionality).
Which option should I choose?

A freelancer will have no problem. If they do, it means zero experience.

It is better to buy a theme that immediately comes close in terms of functionality. Install everything yourself and start the project.
If the project "goes", then hire professionals and do as it will be necessary. Already taking into account the experience gained in working on the project.

It is better to choose a topic together with those who will do it.
It happens that templates come across fragile, with errors. And that can cause a problem. Not that it is unsolvable, but the cost may jump because of this.
But in general, this tactic will be better than writing the entire design from scratch.
I make websites on WordPress, I am in Spain, I make websites for Spaniards and Russians, if you write to my mail [email protected] I will be glad to cooperate
mm .. not always the functionality is associated with the template being sold.
Of course, if the WP is supplemented in the theme with developed plugins (sale of real estate, directories, shop, etc. goodies), then you are buying not only a template.
And if the functionality is standard, then what's the difference to the encoder?
In the case of some complex ideas, I would strongly recommend abandoning WordPress in favor of other engines for which you can download for free and easily attach any paid design.
Pros: - less load on the server, high speed - + to conversion, sharpness on comm. tasks.
Write in a personal - maybe I will advise something (it's free). Extensive experience in website development.
