What is the best way to operate a laptop with a Li-Pol battery if the laptop is constantly connected to the network?

There is a laptop made in 2019, it has a Li-Pol battery. I'll be using it full-time for gaming and surfing soon. I heard that the battery should not be constantly charged, but it cannot be removed. Are there any trickier ways than constantly disconnecting-connecting from the charger?

Don't trust everything they say. And then you hear about the flat Earth. :) It's not at all whether the charging is connected.

Constant disconnection-connection will not benefit either the battery, or the charger, or the laptop itself. Rather, you will harm by such actions (although not much harm, but still).
To extend battery life, a special setting can be provided either in the BIOS or in a proprietary utility from the laptop manufacturer. When this mode is enabled, charging will only go up to the level of 70%..80%, it will not rise above this level. It is in this way that you can extend the life of the battery, but do not count on any super-effect even from this mode. Conditionally: if, with a normal charge up to 100%, the battery dies after 4 years, then when charged up to 80%, it will die after 5 years. So it doesn't make much sense. And not every laptop has such a charging mode at all. Look, but if you don't find it, then don't bother and work as usual.
