Hey! I am planning to buy a macbook air m1 16gb 256ssd. I will mainly use figma, webstorm and all related tools for web development. The budget is limited, so I made a bias towards more RAM, but confuses 256ssd.

There is an external ssd drive for 500gb. The laptop

will be used as the main machine.
Tell me, who is engaged in web development and who also has ssd for 256, do you really lack space?
