Hp Compaq Cq58 black screen, matrix or cable?
Good evening!
Before the story, the cooler died on a percent, I decided I think I’ll open it and clean it, I disassembled everything, assembled it, turned it on, there are no changes. Well, I think it's time to change the cooler, the next day I rode around the city, naturally you won't find such a cooler anywhere, only on order, etc. I think it's okay, I came home, put everything back together, during the assembly process, after connecting the power button, I decided to check if everything was working properly. Launching! Miracle! The cooler started working, I was happy to get everything back, I start it, but there is no picture .. You turn on the laptop, the screen lights up, probably the backlight, there is no picture itself, I connected an external LCD via VGA, there is a picture!
Actually the question is, did the matrix die or is it a train?

With such a formulation of the question - carry it to the SC. No seriously. Until they made it worse.
I guess - the matrix cable was disconnected, and the battery was connected. As a result, a matrix / video chip / EC - choose anything, or a combination.
Check if the hot key has disabled the output to the matrix (for some, it cycles through the outputs, for some it may be different).
If there is a matrix known to be serviceable, throw it up and see (disconnecting the charger and the battery!).
Otherwise - in the SC. Does not show and with a working one - in the SC.
