What is the best way to make a Sitemap?
Hello.
There is a self-written engine (Dating site) which has about 500-900 categories, and in each category there is a questionnaire.
Please tell me, sitemap/simemap.xml should contain only categories, or profiles that are also in categories?
What is the best way to do it in my case? There will be a lot of pages, about 50-100k, relatively plus or minus ..

As a rule, sitemap.xml specifies the pages that you would like to index in an accelerated mode.
If you do not specify, nothing terrible will happen - sooner or later the search robot will find them and index them, if they are not closed from indexing.
If you have about 100k pages, you will end up with 3 sitemap files.
In 2 there will be links to pages (no more than 50k in one), in the third - links to the previous two.
1. Important pages - which require indexing;
2. Neutral - it doesn't matter if they are in the search results or not;
3. Hidden - which are prohibited from indexing.
1. These pages are specified in the sitemap;
2. These pages are optional;
3. Do not specify and close from indexing, if necessary.
