What is the best way to lay out building plans?

As a rule, the usual set: the choice of a building, floor, apartment.
Layouts are provided in .ai format, that is, an illustrator.
Let's say for styling I do export to svg, then I already style the resulting code.
I also know that there is a converter for liba raphael, but for some reason I usually encountered the fact that the conversion was not entirely correct and the source code did not match what was in ai.
Which approach is better? Pros, cons?

If you want a high-quality result, a designer / illustrator with knowledge of ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR is taken and, under the supervision of the art director, redraws all plans "for the site": taking into account the rubberiness, dimensions, the inevitable interpolation of drawing lines, the appearance of the information inscriptions of the drawing, as well as the color scheme, so that the rendered drawing didn't look like a cow's saddle on the site.
