What is the best way to implement noise (sound) exceedance tracking on Android?
If you keep the microphone and the application on all the time, the battery will most likely run out quickly.
Maybe there is some kind of hardware exception in smartphones (though hardly)?
I want to try to write a program for a deaf person so that the smartphone vibrates when there are loud sounds around.

And for what purposes?
If it's just a binary "watchman" - then the battery will not drain much.
And if you need sound analysis - then it's another story: it needs a processor.
