You do not need a university degree in IT. This is not a niche that specializes in diplomas. I myself studied at the technical school for an IT specialty. And my diploma was of no use anywhere. But I work in a Digital agency as a lead developer.
I advise you to choose a field of activity in IT and delve into its study. Books (required, you must understand in theory how to build code correctly), courses and practice, practice and practice again. Build your portfolio and knowledge.
Correspondence IT training is a waste of time that will lead you nowhere, much less teach you. The key is patience and hard work. Good luck.
In the IT field, most people work without diplomas. So any sane courses and schools are given to you, then collect a portfolio and look for a job, for starters, you can be a junior or an intern at a company.
