What is the best way to design a desktop?

Background: (necessary for reading)
I'm tired of my table 60cm wide and 150cm long. There is not enough width, only a keyboard and a monitor can fit, and then you always have to shove the keyboard somewhere to read the text on an A4 sheet (and it is 17 cm wide). And the countertop coating is not very practical, it gets dirty and scratched very easily. The location of the drawers leaves a lot to be desired; when opened, they rest against the stomach. Since the table has a light construction, and practically not a single bolt or screw was used during assembly (everything is mainly on chop), it still wobbles left to right.
I decided to look for a table on the Internet, in popular furniture sites. I realized for myself that all computer tables can be divided into $ types. The first is

hello from 2007
(with a no-talk pull-out keyboard
stand, with a PC compartment that I don’t like, and of course with an orange color that wraps 2007), oh yes, there are still mounts on some of them for discs. The only plus of such a table (from my own practice), because of all the departments and compartments that perform the function of stiffeners, it is very strong and not shaky at all. There are office tables of the same type, but more minimalistic and office tables with a different more modern coloring. There are 2 pluses in these candidates for me (strength and stability, the width of the countertop (it is often more than 70 cm, on some models). But as a person prone to minimalism, these useless shelves and compartments annoy me.
The next type is the table type that my table belongs to. These are Ikea light tables (they are not only in Ikea, but I tend to associate these tables with Ikea). They are beautiful, minimalistic, but not at all practical. How am I supposed to type on the clave and write an outline in an A4 notebook if the damn table is 50 cm wide. And the coating (acrylic paint) is not very practical. Again, shakiness and lightness. And I still wanted the table to be such that under it during the apocalypse it was possible to hide. Here I can also include Loft tables (and other styles). Which are either very expensive or have a small countertop width.
Well, type 3 is gaming tables with a light bulb. Everything is perfect, they are aesthetic and minemalistic (especially with steel legs), there are also X-shaped ones that I don’t really like, but in general they are also not bad. Their colors are modern and well-matched, and the top cover is often practical. There are no extra shelves and osteka, the countertop is long and wide, durable. But their price is high. I'm not ready to give that much.
Main text:
Therefore, I decided to design and make the table myself, the original plan was for a sheet of chipboard 1600x1000x16 mm at the bottom of the frame so that it does not bend. The frame was planned as 4 profiles connected and welded. And then pokareshnye in any company that is engaged in painting metals, before that, the welding seam would naturally have been removed.
Here is the model:

Chipboard as a countertop was used due to the fact that it is not possible to find shields of such sizes from a fastened board, and plywood of this kind too. And chipboard is also cheap. But 16mm plywood spoils the view very much, as it is very thin. That's why I'm here.
Profile 70x40x3mm.
Actually here is the list of questions:
  • Is the design and location of the stiffeners correctly chosen, as well as the material (frame) or is there a better analogue?
  • What is the best way to make a countertop? Preferably not from expensive material and thicker.
  • What are the best legs to use here? And how best to attach them to the frame.

If there are already designed and ready-made options that you think are very practical and convenient, I will be very happy if you drop them here.
Thanks for reading and replying, and sorry for any mistakes!
