What is the best way to debug an apk without sources?

Good afternoon!
There is an application apk, I want to dig out its insides, do a simple reverse and then pull the methods from the class added to the apk. Tell me how to do it better? There are no sources, there are apk-tools.
Fellow programmers, if you have experience in debugging / unpicking apk files - tell us, help!
