What is the best virtualization system to use on macmini for ubuntu?

Good afternoon.
There is a macmini and it needs to be used as a server, but since the users of this server have no love for makosi, it was decided to install a virtual ubuntu server.
We tried virtualbox and in the process of using the virtual axis threw out various errors, referring to memory and disk.
What would you recommend to use in this situation?
