How to install Windows on a VPS, or run Windows Server on an Ubuntu virtual machine, etc.?

Hello.
Immediately to the question: is it possible to install Windows Server on a VPS yourself, i.e. from your image. The problem itself is the monthly license fee, which costs more than VPS.
Or I thought about the second option - if you order a VPS with Ubuntu or Debian preinstalled. And then will it be possible to install Virtual Box and install Windows Server there yourself?
If anyone knows information on this topic - share. Maybe someone already wrote such articles, I can not find.
And immediately, do not get excited, my knowledge has always been limited only to a virtual server with isp manager or cPanel. So I'm interested in the advanced.
Thank you so much in advance for your replies!

You won't be able to install virtualbox on a VPS. I mean, it will work, but it won't work. This requires support for nested virtualization, which is not available on commercial hosting.
Almost any hosting allows you to install the system from its ISO.

I agree with the above comments, I just want to add. If you are using a virtual server (VDS / VPS), which is already being virtualized by itself, then virtualizing on top of this in the same VirtualBox will not work. This method will work on Dedicated-servers, tobish dedicated (physical). And on hostings that are running KVM, OpenVZ, VMware (types of virtualization (hypervisors)), it is possible to install Windows Server only directly from your ISO. Some hostings allow you to do this, but it's not a fact that it will work for a long time, because. most likely after some time the administrators will see and simply block.
How much for VDS do you plan to allocate monthly?
