What is the best RAM configuration for working in Photoshop?

Hello! I have a dilemma, please help me to solve it.

There is a laptop with a Ryzen 3 5300U on board and a 256gb NVMe SSD, which has 1 DDR4 3200MHz stick for 8GB. I plan to use the laptop to work in Photoshop, Figma. I want to expand the RAM, but I have a 4GB 3200MHz and 8GB 2400MHz bar on hand. I just heard that Ryzen loves high RAM frequencies, so reducing the memory frequency without hesitation does not raise a hand.

If it's much simpler: 12GB 3200MHz vs 16GB 2400MHz?

Thank you!

more is better, but slower. in terms of RAM,
although if 8GB is enough and the swap file is not loaded, then you can not change

here is an example of a benchmark with more hardcore increases in the frequency of not only RAM but also the processor.
an increase in the amount of RAM gives more growth than an increase in frequencies
in your case, the difference will be noticeable on synthetic tests and there may be a very small number of tasks (and working with LARGE images)
BUT only on condition that there is not enough RAM for your tasks in principle! (I think 8GB is too little)
