What is the best processor for a computer?

Good day. Eternal question. What is better to take Intel, or AMD =) Not for the sake of holivar, I can’t somehow decide what is better to take yet)
The following processors are on the scales: AMD FX-9370 and Intel Core i7-4790
Actually, the question is whether it is worth overpaying for intel ~ 2500 UAH (roughly speaking $ 200), or it is better to put AMD, and invest the remaining money in ssd, say. Well, or maybe someone else will advise)
I'm a web developer, I need a computer mainly for work, but of course I also like to play toys sometimes)
I'm more concerned about the overall speed of the system, the work of the ide, and, well, the work of Photoshop, because. I occasionally encounter this) In my work I use 2/3 FullHD monitors (I don’t know if this should influence my choice). In principle, I understand that for work it is possible to put something easier in principle, but I would like to take a computer for several years in advance so that it is not enough for 1 year)
Well, in general, something like that. Who thinks about this?)

Well, if the choice is between AMD + SSD and Intel without SSD, then of course you need to take an SSD.
Or instead of i7 it is better to take i5. For games, there is definitely a difference from HT (and there seems to be no significant differences between i5 and i7) in few places, for other tasks it’s different, but you’re also unlikely to notice, it’s more likely for something like compilation may matter.

You can take Intel, but i5, and also SSD. If there is no separate video card, then with the same HD 4600.
I don’t think that 4 cores with HT will be very useful for your tasks.

If I were you, I would take an Intel Core i5-4690 and some kind of SSD. www.3dnews.ru/821170/page-2.html here are, for example, tests. The AMD CPU is slightly different, even more powerful than the one you suggested, but it still loses to the 4690 in most tests. Especially in Photoshop, it loses a lot. I think 4690 will be the best option for you. Well, or save money and take 4670/4590/4570, see for yourself how the price is more convenient. I don't think you'll lose much in terms of speed.
SSD, IMHO, if you want a fast PC, a must have. When the HDD does not have time to read data, no fast processor will save the situation.

They took an old AMD, in this configuration, take Intel and you also need an SSD, without it it’s somehow sad.
UPD: I haven’t seen hospitals for a long time, something amd doesn’t let anything new on sale at all ...

The first option (AMD FX-9370) is not bad as a budget and productive CPU, which, in addition, can be decently overclocked.
The second one has a number of advantages, such as: a smaller process technology, much lower heat dissipation and, accordingly, the operating temperature, the performance of one or all cores simultaneously is higher than that of the first option.
The question is straightforward and is solved only by the amount of the amount you have.

I agree with everyone above, but I would clarify the moment, all of the above will be completely meaningless if, say, 4GB of RAM is inserted into the car, in which case it will be a turtle with a soldering iron in 1 place, no matter how much the animal does not torment, it will not fly faster. You need at least 8-12 gig RAM to work comfortably, and if in Windows, turn off the paging file completely.
