What is the best monitor for programming?

Everyone praises LG 25UM58 25 inch 2k resolution, which is very convenient.
Choosing between it and another monitor with only full hd 27 inch resolution, for example 273V7QSB/00 or Samsung S27F358FWI.
Diagonal VS resolution in such a choice which will win.
It seems that the choice is in favor of 2k, it is more convenient to work with many windows, but I'm afraid to take a pig in a poke.

FullHD for 27 "is not enough, in my experience. Eyes get tired. You need 2k or 4k for such a diagonal.

Between one monitor, let's say at 30" and two at 25" - I will definitely choose the second option :) Because a person's visual field is horizontal :)

30 years ago I programmed quite well on the ZX Spectrum, I had a converted TV set Elektronika 404
as a monitor. Believe me, the quality of programming did not depend on the monitor then, and does not depend now. Take any monitor 24-27". For example, I like Acer and Philips monitors, Samsung also has quality, but it's expensive. I will never take LG, but all this is my personal subjective opinion, which does not reflect the existing reality on the monitor market.
It’s another matter if you solve problems related to complex graphics, but then it’s worth contacting a specialized forum for designers and artists

If the OS you are using normally supports scaling (in other words, if Win 10), then you definitely need to take 4k. Diagonal - from 24 to 32", as far as the budget and space on the table allow.

19"-22", VA*, 5:4 aspect ratio, 1280x1024 resolution and Document Reader (side by side, in portrait mode) 23-24", 1920x1200 (16:10).

Personally, I selected the monitor for convenience, so that there was no bright LED, glossy parts of the body, there was a brightness sensor, the diagonal was suitable for my usual working position (the further you sit - the diagonal is larger)
if 27 and full HD, then this is not enough for working with text, but for games and movies norms.
The diagonal from 27 inches is specific, you need to try it live for good, maybe someone you know has it, ask for a visit.
