1. Hosting - everything is set up, the rights are reduced to a minimum, a bunch of clients use one PC, one IP per bunch of clients.
2. VPS (VPS virtual server) - as a rule, you configure everything yourself, full rights (root), several clients use one PC, a dedicated IP is just for you.
3. Dedicated machines - as a rule, you set everything up yourself, full rights (root), one person uses one PC, a dedicated IP is just for you.
Virtually any hosting is suitable for a start, until you grow to the level of serious attendance, it may take a year or you will abandon it faster (very few projects shoot without significant budgets for promotion). On the hosting you place the engine (CMS / code) of the site.
The video clips themselves, that is, static files (video, photos, music) - something that weighs a lot, but is not executable code, is transferred to static storage services. There you can store terabytes and pay only for traffic. Example Amazom s3 , MS azure , feralhosting . .
^ This is now the most common practice and more profitable than taking a service that executes the software part (website code) and also has a lot of space for static.
