What is the best 3D modeling software for GameDev?
I read that the blender program is not much in demand compared to competitors. How are things going with this in gamedev? Is it better to learn 3DS Max and the like, or is it possible to learn the same blender?

I switched from max to blender in 2015 and have never regretted it. blender has a huge and friendly community, it is "faster" and "lighter" than max. In addition, it is perfectly extensible with many free and paid plugins. But its main plus for me is that the blender is a powerful "combine" containing everything you need to create, rig, animate and paint models at once in one package and for free .
blender, 3dmax, cinema - Does n't matter . It can save everything in the required formats.
