What is the attitude of search engines to "unusual" domain zones?
Let's say I want to register a domain whose name will be two words - something and info .
Which is preferable to choose - something.info or somethinginfo.com/.net ? Obviously, the first option is easier to remember and shorter, but I'm more interested in traffic from search engines.
Do search engines (Google in particular) have any preferences for domain zones? From an SEO point of view, which domain is better? Is there a difference?

Gone are the days when search engines took into account the domain name
Domain zones for promotion: me, pro, su, info, etc. What are the priorities of search engines?
Does the prospect of SEO promotion depend on the domain (domain zone)?
Do Yandex and Google like to promote sites with new trendy domain zones?
How do search engines treat non-standard domains?
Whether the search engines take it into account, I don't know. But the shorter and more sonorous the domain name is, and the closer it is in meaning to the request, the more often it will be clicked by users in the search results. When you google from a powerful desktop with fast internet, you can certainly afford to open the first 30 links in 30 tabs without looking. No one googles like that on mobile phones.
